Malibu producers Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz’s film, “Homeless: The Soundtrack,” was awarded Special Jury Mention for short documentary at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
The film follows singer-songwriter Alpert, who was placed into adoption at the age of four. Thirty years later, she finds her birth father—homeless, toothless and a musician.
