Sina Khankhanian, the man charged with second-degree murder in the 2010 death of 13-year-old Emily Shane, could be heading to trial on Dec. 6. Khankhanian was arraigned on Oct. 17 and his next court date is Nov. 18, Michel Shane, Emily Shane’s father, told The Malibu Times. Michel Shane said he had been told by the prosecution that the Khankhanian would face a trial date of Dec. 6 unless the defense has the date delayed past the new year.
