It’s election season in Malibu. The nomination period for the upcoming Malibu City Council election begins Monday, according to the city’s website. The city’s general municipal election is scheduled for April 12, 2012. The nomination period will stretch from this Mon., Dec. 19 to Wed., Jan. 18. Three city council seats are up for grabs. Councilmembers John Sibert and Jefferson Wagner are up for re-election, while Councilmember Pamela Conley Ulich is term-limited and cannot run again.
Nomination packets can be picked up at the city clerk’s office during the nomination period.
