Malibu resident Andrew Nickerson was appointed as principal of Psomas engineering firm.
A graduate of Columbia University with a master’s in civil engineering from University of California, Irvine, Nickerson enters his new role with over 20 years of experience in providing civil engineering design of public transportation infrastructure and private residential, commercial and institutional facilities. He is a state director and past president of the Los Angeles County Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, board member of the Los Angeles Headquarters Association, member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and serves on the County of Los Angeles Environmental Review Board.Â
The Psomas firm is dedicated to balancing the natural and built environments by providing sustainably engineered solutions to public and private clients. Nickerson will be based at the firm’s Los Angeles office.
