Willy Forsyth

Willy Forsyth, a 2007 Malibu High School graduate, has been honored with a Maroon Beret at a Special Ceremony at Kirtland Air Force base in Albuquerque, N.M. The training for this Air Force Special Operations team takes a minimum of two years to complete and has a 90 percent wash out rate.

Fosyth completed many special schools including HALO parachute, static parachute, survival, weapons and dive school, as well as completing his National Registry Paramedic. There are 350 Air Force para rescue men worldwide. These men are trained to make rescues on land or sea by helicopter or parachute. Their efforts have rescued military and civilian pilots, NASA astronauts and even hurricane and tsunami victims.

Forsyth is currently based in Tucson Ariz. and can be deployed on a mission anywhere in the world.
