For the third consecutive year, the Pepperdine women’s beach volleyball team won the West Coast Conference Championship title, on Saturday, April 21. The team defeated Saint Mary’s with a score of 5-0 at Ocean Park beach in Santa Monica.
Saturday’s match resulted in Nina Matthies’ final championship win as head coach of the team, leaving a Waves record of 15-0 pairs.
The team has a 20-3 win-loss record for the season.
