The 21st annual Malibu Pie Festival will take place on Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Malibu United Methodist Church’s newly renovated courtyard at 30128 Morning View Drive. Admission is free. Pie Festival proceeds support Malibu United Methodist’s youth and family programs as well as various service projects.
The event will include pie-eating contests, pies for sale, musical entertainment from the Melvin Eddy Blues Band and other local groups, lunch from food trucks, a drum circle, petting zoo, oral children’s stories, silent auction, crafts, a karate demonstration and a dance troupe performance.
