Malibu natives David E. Bresler and Mona Falamaki graduated from Boston University in May. Bresler received a Master of Arts degree in mental health counseling and behavioral medicine. Falamaki received a Bachelor of Science degree in communication.
The locals were two of 5,824 students who received degrees at the ceremony.
The university, the fourth largest independent university in the country, has an enrollment of more than 29,000 students.
