The Malibu Navy League recognized Petty Officer Grant Levy on Wednesday, May 11, for his appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 2020.
Levy is currently a part of the Langley Division Sea Cadets — an organization that the Malibu Navy League sponsors. The Sea Cadets’ Commanding Officer, LCDR Pam Silver, Naval Sea Cadet Corps, was recognized for her outstanding leadership during the awards ceremony and was given a sustaining check for $1,000 from Navy League members.
Along with a certificate from the Navy League, Levy was honored with a proclamation from Los Angeles Mayor Garcetti. He will report to the academy in June as a plebe.
