Charlou Larronde, who moved to Malibu in 1951, died in her Carbon Beach home, surrounded by family on Jan. 26. She was born in Los Angeles on Jan. 15, 1921 and recently celebrated her 94th birthday.
“She traveled the world making memories, and her most important priorities were her family of 25 and her friends,” a loved one shared.
Larronde is survived by three daughters: Kristeen, Nita and Janine Larronde; son-in-law Brian Asher; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Larronde, who died in 1989, and her grandson, Treelan Larronde, who died at age 29.
The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.
