Service to T-Mobile users in the Malibu area has been restored as of Thursday afternoon.
A number of cell towers went down in Southern California on Saturday due to recent storms, causing interruption in certain areas including Malibu.
A spokesperson for T-Mobile early Thursday this week said all the towers have been repaired. However, Danny Bazerman, Director of Operations and Engineering, Los Angeles/Orange County, said, upon further investigation, a bad cell site located near Las Flores Canyon was discovered.
?For some reason, our network control center missed this one,? Bazerman said. ?They have been working around the clock due to the storms. ?
It has since been repaired, and company technicians are monitoring the performance of equipment.
