Drivers should anticipate delays on Kanan Dume Road between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday as crews complete the Kanan Dume Road Tunnel Rehabilitation Project, according to the City of Malibu.
Construction on Tunnel 1 will be completed as a Los Angeles County contractor performs the final control switch on the rehabilitation project that began in June 2014.
Traffic in both directions will be effected with intermittent stops during the operation. Motorists should plan on using alternate routes if possible and anticipate delays along Kanan. Once completed, traffic will resume to normal conditions.
