Pepperdine University women’s soccer team goalkeeper Brielle Preece was named West Coast Conference’s Player of the Week on Sept. 11. The title comes after Preece led the Waves to a 1-0 shutout victory against Big 10 Champion Northwestern University Wildcats last week. This game marked the fourth shutout for the Pepperdine junior, originally from Livermore, California, ranking her first in the West Coast Conference.
The Waves play two more games this week: UCLA on Friday, Sept. 15, and UC Irvine on Sunday, Sept. 17.
