Students enrolled in grades 6-12 will present films Friday night at 7 p.m. during the first annual Malibu Teen Film Festival, hosted by the Malibu Youth Commission at the Malibu Civic Theater.
The Commission founded the festival to support creative expression from student film makers, with support from Malibu City Council.
Prizes will be awarded and all entries will be recognized by a team of judges. A dessert reception will follow the screenings.Â
