The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrested 5 drivers during a DUI/DL checkpoint in Malibu this past Friday night, according to Traffic Sergeant Sgt. Philip D. Brooks.
The DUI checkpoint, held near at Pacific Coast Highway and John Tyler Drive, resulted in 11 sobriety tests, 5 DUI arrests, and 8 impounded vehicles.
The checkpoint was part of a California Office of Traffic Safety grant for the City of Malibu.
