Former MHS Swimmer to Participate in World Championships

Northwestern University junior and MHS alum Jordan Wilimovsky won the 1,650 freestyle Big Ten championship in 14:33.50 and claimed a bronze medal in the 1,650 freestyle at the 2015 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Three weeks later, he won the USA Swimming 10K Open Water National Championship, earning a berth in the event at the 2015 World Championships in Russia this summer. He is attempting to qualify for the 2016 Brazil Olympic Games. Wilimovsky is a three-time collegiate All-American.
