[Update: 10:14 p.m.] Pacific Coast Highway was reopened on Sunday night following a fatal crash earlier in the evening, according to an alert from the City of Malibu.
[Update: 8:33 p.m.] A pedestrian was struck and killed in a collision with a vehicle near the Malibu Pier on Sunday. The fatality was confirmed to The Malibu Times on Sunday evening.
Pacific Coast Highway was fully closed in both directions Sunday evening following the collision.

Pacific Coast Highway traffic was down to one lane in each direction on Sunday evening, Feb. 11, following a crash involving a pedestrian, according to information provided by the City of Malibu.
An alert went out regarding the incident at 7:49 p.m., and further details were not immediately available.
First responders were still on scene of the crash at 8:10 p.m.
