Greene, Esq.; actress June Lockhart, Australian Supreme Court Justice and composer George Palmer, actor Alan Rachins and Petri Hawkins-Byrd of “Judge Judy” at the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic concert July 30.

Malibu resident Gary S. Greene, Esq. conducted the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and the 100-member Legal Voices at its Concert Extraordinaire at the Walt Disney Concert Hall July 30.

The event featured music from Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess” to the finale of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. A portion of the ticket proceeds from the sold-out event went to those who cannot afford legal services.

The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic is an orchestra composed of lawyers, judges, law students and legal staff who are also accomplished musicians. It was founded in 2009 by attorney, violinist and conductor Gary S. Greene. Since its inception, the orchestra has performed 23 concerts and raised thousands of dollars for various charities.

Also making its debut at the July 30 event and providing vocal accompaniment was the Legal Voices chorus, which Green founded in April.
