Early in January, the Malibu Public Library received an anonymous gift donation of six boxes of brand new children’s books (fiction and non-fiction) and music CDs. Among the items received was the entire collection of “The Great Illustrated Classics,” Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” John Christopher’s “Tripod Series, The Dear America Series,” Jon Scieszka’s “Time Warp Series,” Edward Eager’s “Tales of Magic” and Mary Norton’s “The Complete Adventures of the Borrowers,” to name a few. The staff has been busily processing these new materials.
