Longtime Malibu resident Patricia Dell Pritchet died Jan. 30. She was 86.
Pritchett was born on March 16, 1924. At 4-feet, 11-inches tall, she is remembered as a “spunky, little fireball.”
Pritchett, who lived in Malibu for more than 50 years, raised six children of her own. However, she was thought of as a mother by many in the community, frequently employing encouraging sayings such as “Spell your can’ts without a t and successful you will be.”
Pritchett also enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, gardening and swimming.
Pritchett is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry, her children Jack, Jenny, Scott, Gayle and Priscilla, and grandchildren Prairie, Kate, Cassidy, Jesse and Cutter.
A private service will take place.
