This is a plea in support of Kathy Wisnicki, Malibu’s only candidate running for school board. Kathy is an education activist who has given countless volunteer hours to help our schools. She is fair, open minded, well liked and solution-oriented. She understands that California school funding is woefully inadequate and she has worked hard to improve our district’s financial position. She also understands that every school dollar might be well spent and is a member of the District’s Financial Oversight Committee.
She has led at the PTA as a past president and district board member, and works on the Community for Excellent Public Schools (CEPS) to set goals and improve communication and implement changes. Her background also includes a Ph.D. in education. No matter how you feel about Malibu having its own school district, we all need to get behind Kathy for school board. She’s an excellent choice and will be Malibu’s only voice. Your vote is import. Please vote for Kathy Wisnicki.
