The Children’s Lifesaving Foundation’s (CLF) Camp4All ended its 24th summer season at Family Beach Day last Saturday. Families from the foundation’s Vita Network—a community of “at-risk families”—and other homeless or at-risk families around the area participated in the month-long surf camp. The Mighty Underdogs, Malibu locals, participated as surf instructors. They helped people like Giovanni De Leon, a 22 year old with cerebral palsy who went boogie boarding for the first time in his life. Others, like Cheryl Bohannon, enjoyed playing with seaweed on the beach day.
