It was standing room only for Stand Up, a comedy show held at the Malibu Playhouse on Saturday night, July 30. A buzz of excitement was in the air as attendees grabbed a snack, maybe a glass of wine, and filed into the theatre to find a seat. Comedian and Master of Ceremonies Michael Schirtzer was the first act and then introduced the following band of merrymakers: Chase Bernstein (of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”), Garrick Bernard (of HBO), Dominic Harris (of SXSW), Anna Valenzuela (of Roast Battle), Keith Carey (of Comedy Central) and headliner Debra Digiovanni (of Netflix).
