Dave Bassett, a Malibu resident, Juan Cabrillo Elementary School parent, songwriter and producer, visited Juan Cabrillo last week.
Bassett interacted with students as part of the school’s Visiting Artist Series, which brings an artist to the school each month to share their inspirations, talents and techniques.
Bassett taught students about the process of creating a song, including writing, recording and reaching an audience.
