Fourth-grade basketball club the Valley Thunder, with players from Malibu, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village, won the ARC Spring League Division I championship at the California State University, Northridge Matadome.
This victory marks the third major title for the year, after an undefeated Winter V league championship and a win at the Aloha Classic in October.
Malibu team member Billy White was awarded best Defensive Player of the V League and also named to the all-star team.
