Academy award winning actor Louis Gossett Jr. is seen here with Boston City Council President Maureen Feeney (far right) and his publicist Colette Phillips, president and CEO of Colette Phillips Communications Inc. Gossett, a Malibu resident, was the guest of honor at Get Konnected, a monthly multicultural professional and social networking event founded by Phillips. While in Boston, Gossett taped promotional pieces for the 2009 Boston Children Chorus’ Martin Luther King Jr. celebration concert, which he will host and will air in 90 markets across the United States. He was spotted dining with Sen. Barack Obama’s close advisor Harvard Law Professor Charles Ogletree as well as throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park at a Red Sox/Indians game.
