Two retrofitted electric vehicle charging stations will be unveiled Friday next week in a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the City of Malibu. The EV charging stations look like parking meters and are located by two parking spaces in front of the Malibu Library. They were updated by ClipperCreek, a company that manufactures EV chargers, using federal grant money. The city had cut off power to the chargers in recent years due to scarce use. The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 29 at the County Lot, 23555 Civic Center Way.
