Alfred Nickerson Pearl died on Feb. 6. He was 70.
Born on Feb. 3, 1937 in Nantucket, Mass., Pearl was the youngest of three brothers. As a member of the Local 150 for more than 30 years, his work as a motion picture and video projectionist contributed to the history of film. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and visiting the Dume Room. He is now remembered by his friends at Spruzzo’s.
Pearl is survived by his wife, Jane-Jasper Pearl, and his brother, Charles Pearl.

A celebration of Pearl’s life will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday at The Rock Store, located at 30354 Mulholland Highway in Cornell.
