Jack Shultz died Sunday at the age of 86. Shultz, known as “Papa Jack” to local skateboarders, received the 1999 Malibu Times Dolphin Award for his generous land donation to start the first and only Malibu skateboard park.
Shultz is survived by his wife, Pearl, daughters and sons-in-law Harlene and Doug Smith, Marsha and Gregg Marcus; granddaughters and their husbands Jamie and Dr. Stephen Shaw, June and Jim White, Jennifer and Ron Goldwasser, and Jacqueline Marcus; and great-grandchildren Michaela, Maryn, Jake, Alexa and Matthew Jack.
Services will take place at Mt. Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries, Hollywood Hills on Jan. 25 at noon.
