Emil K. Klink died on March 3 at his home in Westlake Village after a 3-year illness. Born in Germany on Feb. 6, 1930, he moved to Ventura County in 1979 after living in South Lake Tahoe. He was a self-employed barber in Malibu for 22 years, known as the best in his field by his clientele and friends, whom he cherished and then missed after retiring in December. Klink also participated in the Malibu community as a member of the Lions Club and the Navy League.
Klink is survived by his wife, Lilly, daughter Connie, grandsons Brandon and Garet Blake, and brothers Hubert and Siegfried Klink. A memorial service took place on March 7 in Westlake Village.
