“Malibu” Frank Thomas died on Jan. 6. He was well known to many in western Malibu.
Thomas resided in Marina del Rey for many years before moving to Malibu, where he made his home with friends who visited and talked with him next to the R Quick Stop.
“He was a man of extraordinary wit and was a pleasure to know,” a loved one said. “He was a world class mechanic. He will be missed by all of us who will find an empty spot in our hearts that Malibu Frank used to fill. Most of all, he will be missed by his guardian angel, Dinnie Cho — the owner of R Quick Stop who showered him with love, affection and care.”
