Elsie Muslin, former president of the Malibu Association of Realtors, died July 3.
Muslin served as the president of the Malibu Association of Realtors in 1991 and became an emeritus member in 2007. She received her real estate license in 1959 and retired in 2008 after a successful career.
Muslin was also involved with the incorporation of Malibu. The longtime local loved living in Malibu and was proud of her contributions to the city.
Muslin is survived by her daughter Trudy Daverso, son Samuel Muslin, sister Olga Assad, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Milo, her son Milo Jr. and her parents.
A memorial ceremony took place July 9.
