Former city treasurer and employee of The Malibu Times Pete Lippman recently travelled with his wife Libby on a 16-day Mediterranean cruise. They travelled on the Nieuw Amsterdam of Holland America Lines. Their visits included Italy (Venice), Croatia (Split), Greece (Athens, Olympia Mykonos, Santorini) and Turkey (Istanbul, Ephesus). Lippman said the service was excellent and the food was gourmet.
