A hearing on the City of Malibu’s “View Restoration Ordinance” is to be held on Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m., City Council chambers. It’s important that there be a maximum turnout for all who want to speak. It is equally important that all five Council members be present at this hearing to learn why, in 2008, two-thirds of the citizens voted in favor of a view restoration ordinance-clearly one in which the city plays an active part in its enforcement. It will be noted by all in attendance which council members have “other engagements.”
