Our Lady of Malibu Catholic Church hosted its 52nd Malibu Keep Christ in Christmas awards ceremony on Jan. 7.
This year’s contest, themed “Love is Shown in Little Things,” consisted of art, banner, essay and poetry divisions. The goal of submissions was to reflect on the many small ways people demonstrate love both during the Christmas season and throughout the year.
Out of over 100 entries, Annabelle Rottman and Grace Flynn won best overall artwork, Sheamus Daniels and Collin Brath won best overall poem, and Ella Stabile and Caitlin Flynn won best overall essay.
