Malibu Rotary Club president Kevin Boling gives Malibu Rotary youth exchange student Zoe Dunne a club flag.

Malibu High School student and Malibu Rotary Club youth exchange student Zoe Dunne spoke at the club’s July 27 meeting before departing for Rüsselsheim, Germany three days later. Dunne is one of three high school students in Los Angeles Rotary District 5280 to be selected to study next year in a foreign country as a part of the Rotary Youth Exchange program.

Dunne told the Malibu Rotary Club that she has always enjoyed traveling, which contributed to her desire to study abroad.

The Rotary Youth Exchange program was established in 1923. In the program, students between the ages of 15 and 18 go to high school in a foreign country and stay with host families who are members of Rotary Clubs in the host countries.
