Janet Ann Purtell, a fifth-grader at Juan Cabrillo, displays many admirable qualities both in the classroom and the community. She is a good friend to her peers, encourages her classmates and practices good sportsmanship.Â
To help make a difference, Purtell writes letters to U.S. troops stationed around the world. Further, she creates care packages to send to the troops as well.
