Malibu’s Sarlo family captured top spots last weekend at the Malibu Call to the Wall Surfing Contest at Surfrider Beach. Hosted by the Malibu Board Riders Surf Club and Scott Hubble productions, the event featured two full days of competition with California’s best surf clubs.
Sophia Sarlo placed first in the women’s shortboard final and took second place in the women’s longboard as well. Colton Sarlo won the open men’s shortboard, while Allen Sarlo placed third in the men’s open longboard division.
