As part of the Malibu Bay Company development agreement, there is a donation of their property at Point Dume to the city for ball fields and a recreation center. This proposal is the only real option we have for playing fields. It is unfathomable for me to see people actually say that Point Dume is a bad deal for the city. Without the development agreement, development doesn’t go away-just the donation part of the agreement!
