The Malibu Optimist Club hosted its annual installment luncheon and celebrated its 52nd year of service to the community Sunday at Camp Hess Kramer. More than 35 members and guests attended the annual event, where Optimist Pacific Southwest District Governor T.G. Thomas installed the officers and board of directors for the new year.
Installed at the luncheon were: Tony Lardas as president, Ed Harvey as vice president, Frank Brady as secretary and Phil Gajic as treasurer. Additionally, the new board of directors members are Mark Ball, Ray Craig, Al Cowart, Lou Drobnick, Bonnie Lockrem and Tom Lubisich.
