Bank of Books showcased the talents of local musicians at its Coffeehouse event on Saturday night. People nestled in the intimate setting to enjoy an evening of diverse styles of music and original songs. The lineup included Robben Bixler, Max Gail with special guest Andy Cahan, The Karma Dealers, Kevin McNally, and Leslie and Bill Bixler.
“There are so many talented people in Malibu — authors, poets, artists, and musicians — and we consider it to be part of our store’s mission to promote their work to the community,” said Pam Eilerson, manager for Bank of Books.
The large crowd reflected the news had spread about the local community gathering spot. Eilerson is thrilled. “It’s been very gratifying to see how much our customers enjoy the Coffeehouse performances, and to hear from the musicians how much they enjoy performing in their home town,” she said.
