Thank you for your article “Topanga Plans to Defend Toxic Eradication of Plants.” The MRCA and the California State Parks system should be made aware that straight vinegar kills weeds. Their use of “Roundup,” by Monsanto (the home of the infamous terminator seed, which if you do not know about, you should), is abhorrent. I question the wisdom to eradicate the plants in the first place, but to use toxic chemicals to kill them on our natural lands poisons the soil, the water table, other plants, animals, birds and insects for years to come, and should be stopped immediately.
