University of Washington’s College of Built Environments announced fthe Dean’s Distinguished Lecture with David Lawrence Gray on Tuesday, Feb 6, 2018 in Seattle. Mr. Gray will share his experience leading adaptive reuse projects including his participation in the restoration of Pioneer Square, Seattle and numerous projects in downtown Los Angeles. Mr. Gray had previously been awarded a Fellowship distinction in the American Institute of Architecture (FAIA). Gray has done several projects in Malibu over the last three decades.
David Lawrence Gray sees an emerging role of the architect as developer, builder, and leader who can resolve traditional conflicts and set the standard for the built environment.
