In the water, Pepperdine women’s swim and dive team outswam Manhattan College in a dual meet at home on Saturday, Jan. 6. The final score was 145-97.

Waves took first place in all but two events. Notable winners included Nicole Matheson in the 200-meter freestyle, Cybele Jung in the 50-meter free and Julia Sneden in the 100-meter fly.

In the 200-meter medley relay race, Sammie Slater, Lauren Stigers, Sneden and Griffin took the win.
