The Malibu Senior Center is hosting a presentation on effective communication with people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The Alzheimer’s Association will present an educational seminar on how Alzheimer’s affects communication, how to decode the verbal and behavioral messages of someone with dementia, and strategies to help people connect and communicate with someone at every stage of dementia.
The “Effective Communications Strategies” presentation will take place on Tues. Oct. 20 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Zuma Room at Malibu City Hall.
