Almost 100,000 people visited the beaches of Malibu over the course of the three-day Memorial Day weekend. Local families and visitors made their way to the water for the unofficial start of summer.
Memorial Day weekend marks the first weekend that the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station Beach Patrol hits the beaches. They will continue to patrol through Labor Day.
