I appreciate Arnold York’s column,”Pulling the Strings,” from the May 12 edition. Like York, I wondered why the California Dental Association was backing Janice Kamenir-Reznick. I have also received other downright smear flyers against Henry Stern. I now have a better understanding and believe that there are no ethics of those involved and endorsed in these expensive flyers.
On the other hand, I believe Stern is the best candidate for State Senate District 27. Among his many qualifications, he will protect our environment. I also believe that there is an amazing future for him after he serves as a State Senator.
My son and I recently ran into Stern, and right off the bat he remembered my son’s camp nickname from 20 years ago. I was so impressed. After talking and listening to him, I am convinced of his superior knowledge, personality and ability to get things done.
Do not be influenced by developers and PACs, and go with the long list of legitimate organizations and individuals that back Stern. Please join them and me, and tell your friends to vote for Stern for State Senate for District 27.
