Arnold York’s column, “Malibu Times endorsements,” in the May 26 edition is replete with misleading innuendo. Janice Kamenir-Reznik has received no donations from any oil interests. In fact, it is Henry Stern who has accepted money from Sempra — the parent company to SoCal Gas and the perpetrators of the Porter Ranch Gas Leak. He created the big lie about Kamenir-Reznik accepting oil money as a way of distracting the public from his own poor judgment.
One thing Sacramento does not need is another dishonest politician. From the way he has run his campaign, dishonest is exactly what Stern is.
