I was amazed to read Ani Dermenjian’s letter complaining of the nastiness her candidate, Beverly Taki has been subjected to in this election campaign. Amazed, because on the same page was a vicious letter from Carole Bush attacking Sharon Barovsky and accusing her of being part of the Chicago Daley family! Carole Bush was manning the Taki table at the recent Point Dume Mobile Home Park Forum. In front of several witnesses she openly sneered at Andy Stern and was contemptuous of him and his qualifications to run for a seat on Council. She was rude and disruptive, while representing her chosen candidate, Beverly Taki.
Perhaps if Ms Dermenjian dislikes the unpleasant tone of this campaign she might choose to do something about it and disassociate herself and her candidate from individuals like Ms Bush, who did both herself and Beverly Taki a great disservice at this recent forum.
