To ease traffic during the closure of the 405 Freeway from July 16-17, officials from the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works will temporarily remove concrete barriers (k-rails) that currently restrict one southbound lane of traffic along Pacific Coast Highway between Temescal Canyon Road and Chautauqua Boulevard. All three southbound lanes will be open during the weekend. The k-rails will be replaced after the weekend, as part of the ongoing Proposition O Coastal Interceptor Relief Sewer project.
